We are seeking a seasoned backend engineer to join our hybrid engineering team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for an engineer who loves building reliable distributed services, optimizing performance, and shipping production-grade Go applications.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend microservices in Go (Golang) that meet scalability, reliability, and low-latency requirements.
  • Build and evolve RESTful and gRPC APIs, define clear API contracts, and ensure backward compatibility across services.
  • Optimize service performance and memory usage, troubleshoot production incidents, and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Deliver automated tests (unit, integration) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable, safe deployments.
  • Containerize services and manage deployments on Docker & Kubernetes; collaborate with SRE/DevOps to improve observability and scaling.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to raise overall engineering quality.

Qualifications

  • Based in India and able to work in a hybrid model (Bangalore office presence as required).
