Key Responsibilities
User Research: Conduct user research to gather insights into user needs, preferences, and behaviors. Utilize methods such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and validate them with stakeholders. Use tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.UI Design: Design engaging and visually appealing user interfaces for web portals and mobile applications. Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and are consistent across different platforms and devices. UX Design: Develop user flows, site maps, and interaction patterns to create seamless and intuitive user experiences. Ensure that the user journey is optimized for ease of use and efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that align with business goals and technical constraints.Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate design effectiveness. Analyze user feedback and make iterative improvements to enhance usability and user satisfaction.Design System: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a design system or component library to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
Documentation: Produce and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, user personas, and interaction guidelines.Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies. Apply this knowledge to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human- Computer Interaction, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for both web portals and mobile applications.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Experience with UI design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout. Knowledge of UX research methods and usability testing techniques.
Preferred Skills:Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) is a plus.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
