EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:
Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
The opportunity
This role leads a team providing agile methodology services to cross-functional technology-related project(s) or product(s) teams, demonstrating technical expertise to improve productivity of teams and quality of work processes and outcomes. Project(s) or product(s) often have enterprise-wide implications. This role also ensures agile best practices are embedded in delivery, manages stakeholder alignment, and drives team performance through metrics and continuous feedback.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Leads, builds, and coaches high performing teams in the delivery of technology-related products or projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with project and business goals. Instruct and coach other professionals.
- Leads planning, team learning, and adaptation of processes to ensure the quality of team solutions.
- Enables a continuous learning environment, identifying ways to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles as they relate to technical capabilities.
- Builds and applies methodology that supports the integration of changing customer inputs and business conditions into technology-related product development.
- Recommends to the product owner and management in the definition and prioritization of technology-related outcomes. Identifies trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner.
- Ensures the application of agile frameworks to the development process to increase effectiveness of technology-related product development or architecture.
- Removes roadblocks to technology-related product development or architecture. Applies learnings to other development projects.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Manages stakeholder expectations regarding target scope, schedule, and budget.
- Helps teams estimate iteration deliverables and increase sprint velocity.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for agile methodologies and best practices.
- Promotes continuous communication and monitors team dynamics to foster collaboration.
- Facilitates scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and iteration meetings.
- Manages development tracking systems (e.g., product and sprint backlogs).
- Motivates and acts as the glue that holds cross-functional teams together.
- Monitors sprint progress and identifies impediments that hinder delivery.

- Ability to understand Java, Angular, and Node.js code to support development discussions and unblock teams.
- Hands-on familiarity with POSTMAN for API validation.
- Experience with CUCUMBER for behaviour-driven testing.
- Working knowledge of AWS services as used in product delivery environments.
- Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile software development, with at least two years leading large cross-functional teams on enterprise technology initiatives. Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is required; graduate degree preferred.
- Good to have skills include Agile team leadership, stakeholder management, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, velocity optimization, and use of agile tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. Strong skills in collaboration, verbal and written communication, team motivation, time management, and critical thinking are essential.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or ICAgile Certified Professional.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing agile teams, remove delivery blockers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in fast-paced, enterprise-level environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
