About The Role

Based in The College, Swansea University

We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Lecturers to join our bank of lecturers on our academic team to teach on a range of business, management, finance, accounting and economics modules across foundation, level 4 and premasters (level 6) pathways. The ideal candidate will have a passion for introducing and developing students’ understanding and enquiry, possess a strong academic background and be dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment. You will play a pivotal role in delivering modules, guiding students in their academic studies, leading them to develop an enquiring and critical mindset, and contributing to wider college activities.

Flexible teaching hours, starting in September 2026, which will include related academic administration. Additional time paid for moderation, meetings, training, supplementary and marking for one main assessment.

The role is offered on a zero-hours contract, commencing in September 2026.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.

Additional Information

Hourly rate of pay, £36.50 - £42 per teaching contact hour depending on qualifications and experience. Rate for meetings and additional activities is half teaching rate.

This position will be based at Bay Campus, Swansea University for delivery in person.

13th April 2026 closing date, with interviews to take place w/c 4th May .
