We are looking for a Software DevOps Engineer to support the integration, testing, and operation of complex Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in international customer projects. The role combines DevOps infrastructure, CI/CD, system integration, and test engineering in a global, SAFe-based development environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).
- Provide and manage cloud resources for development teams.
- Design, development, and execution of manual and automated test cases.
- Automate software testing and commissioning/deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Integrate proprietary and 3rd party products to a customer satisfying solution (SW & HW).
- Technical education in informatics, engineering, electronics, or related fields.
- Proactive in diagnosing issues and driving solutions to resolution.
- Efficient, creative, and productive, with proven ability to thrive in diverse international teams.
- Willingness to travel for on-site work at customer installations.
- Experience in usability testing and/or network knowledge is a plus.
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.
- Software development experience and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure are advantageous.
- Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of Docker / Docker Compose and Linux administration.
- Experience with software test automation and scripting (e.g., Robot Framework, Python, SoapUI, PowerShell).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage.
