Requirements:

—Practical experience in IT security operations, security engineering, SOC, or a similar cybersecurity role

—Experience coordinating or leading security operations activities or teams

—Good understanding of vulnerability management, incident response, security monitoring, and IAM

—Experience with cloud and infrastructure environments, preferably AWS

—Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and external or global support teams

—Strong organizational and communication skills

—Fluent English required; German is an advantage

Responsibilities

—Lead and coordinate day-to-day IT security operations for the Austrian entity

—Steer and coordinate support from global security teams, including vulnerability management and incident support

—Own the operational management of core security tooling, including endpoint security, cloud security, logging and monitoring, IAM, and related security platforms

—Ensure timely identification, tracking, and remediation of vulnerabilities, security findings, and operational security gaps

—Coordinate security incident handling and act as operational incident manager where required

—Work closely with CTO, IT, and engineering teams to implement and improve security controls

—Maintain operational visibility over security alerts, incidents, exposures, and remediation activities

—Support access management, logging, monitoring, and cloud security operations

—Ensure that operational security tasks are performed in line with internal policies, standards, and regulatory expectations

—Contribute to security reporting, audit preparation, and evidence collection

—Support the maintenance of issue tracking, remediation actions, and related operational records

For this position, a minimum monthly salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Employees in Information and Consulting is foreseen. Overpayment in line with market standards, depending on your qualifications and professional experience, is intended.
