About The Role
What Will You Do? 🦾
As a Frontend Developer at Smartness, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical, evolutionary, and corrective maintenance of our websites while optimizing user experience and performance. Your role will directly impact conversions, site reliability, and scalability, helping clients deliver exceptional digital experiences.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Website Performance & Optimization: Ensure high speed, accessibility, security, and SEO performance, continuously monitoring and improving Core Web Vitals.
- UX/UI Excellence: Optimize user interfaces and workflows to maximize usability and conversion rates, aligning with design systems and component libraries.
- Technical Maintenance: Maintain clean, scalable code, implement updates, bug fixes, and new features to ensure smooth operation of web platforms.
- Data Tracking & Analytics Support: Implement and monitor correct tracking of events, pixels, and analytics to provide actionable insights for clients.
- Documentation & Client Enablement: Write clear technical documentation to allow clients to manage data entry and content updates independently.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with product, design, and other development teams to improve processes, adopt best practices, and enhance platform functionality.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS is fundamental.
- Framework & Tools Experience: Experience with Vue and Nuxt; familiarity with TailwindCSS and Storybook is a plus.
- CMS Proficiency: Comfortable working with Content Management Systems and integrating frontend features.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar versioning tools.
- Performance Focus: Experience in frontend performance optimization, including speed, scalability, and code quality.
- SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of technical SEO principles.
- Tracking & Analytics: Familiarity with tools such as Google Tag Manager, GA4, or equivalent platforms.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
