Job Title: Java/C#/Perl Developer

Role Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing business requirements for internal and external client projects.
• Maintaining applications in production.
• Identifying technical and operational improvements and tracking issues.
• Actively participating in incident investigation and resolution.
• Escalating production and development issues while supporting your colleagues.
• Contributing to the application knowledge base, team documentation, and operational procedures.
• Testing your developments and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
• Providing accurate time estimates for internal and client projects.
• Reviewing and giving constructive feedback on functional requirements documentation and project specifications.
• Collaborating with other internal teams to ensure smooth progress of ongoing activities and projects.
• Working with vendor technical support to facilitate analysis and resolution of technical issues when necessary.

Candidate Profile:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent academic background.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT development or a similar role.
• Full professional proficiency in English (French is a plus).

Technical skills in the following areas:

• Strong proficiency in Perl.
• Good knowledge of Shell scripting and Unix environments.
• Experience with Git.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of print stream formats such as AFP, PostScript, or PCL; familiarity with print management software is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Docbridge software is a plus.
• Experience with OCR/ICR software and document capture workflows is an asset.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and demonstrate team spirit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
