The position

As a Python Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Key Responsibilities

You will play a key role in shaping the next version of the platform, focusing on flexibility, usability, and performance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly on a product, solving complex data challenges, and improving the developer experience.

• Build a streamlined pathway for publishing our platform-built data models into Power BI.
• Ensure long-term product quality and customer success through:
• Strong onboarding experiences
• Proactive refactoring
• Continuous product improvements
• Enhance the core platform engine
• Advanced data processing techniques
• Robust validation frameworks
• Performance optimizations
• Extend and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to better support customer workflows and overall usability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform for deploying data models and related assets on Databricks.
• Stay up to date with developments in the Databricks ecosystem and broader data engineering landscape.
• Create and maintain clear, reliable, and up-to-date documentation for end users.

What you bring to the position

• Strong experience with Python, particularly object-oriented programming
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Databricks
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and workflows
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to performance and scalability

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating data platforms with Power BI
• Knowledge of modern data stack tools and practices
• Experience improving developer experience or building internal platforms
