Our client is an innovation-driven player in the cosmetic industry located in La Côte (Canton de Vaud).
In order to reinforce the team, our client is seeking a Product Development Associate Manager to support and drive the development of new skincare products.
This role sits at the crossroads of marketing, science and execution, combining product expertise, project ownership and team coordination.
You will contribute to building a strong and relevant product pipeline while ensuring operational excellence across development phases.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop a product development team, setting priorities and performance objectives
- Drive the creation of new product concepts based on market trends and consumer insights
- Translate strategic and marketing inputs into actionable product development plans
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle from concept to validation
- Ensure robustness of formulation, testing and validation processes (stability, compatibility, clinical)
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, regulatory, operations, packaging)
- Monitor timelines, anticipate risks and ensure smooth project execution
- Manage and optimize the product/formula portfolio, including updates and compliance
- Support business teams through technical expertise, product training and presentations
Your profile
- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. life sciences, chemistry, pharmacy, cosmetic science), Marketing degree is a plus
- Solid experience in skincare or cosmetic product development
- Proven ability to manage projects in a cross-functional environment
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring
- Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English and French
