Responsibilities

As an AI Engineer, you will:

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of AI‑centric technical products and projects
• Build and deploy machine learning systems that address real‑world commercial challenges
• Translate business problems into well‑framed AI opportunities
• Challenge existing processes to drive innovation and improve outcomes
• Stay up to date with fast‑moving AI advancements
• Make an immediate impact — you will be trusted and empowered from day one

What Our Client Is Looking For

We are seeking candidates with strong theoretical grounding AND hands‑on experience:

• Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals
• Experience deploying LLMs in production (prompting, agent workflows, retrieval pipelines, evals, etc.)
• Knowledge of LLM inference techniques (KV caching, speculative/parallel decoding, etc.)
• Strong programming skills in Python + one of C++, Java or .NET
• SQL experience
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action
• Ability to manage AI projects end‑to‑end
• Financial services experience is a plus (not essential)
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar from a reputable university
