DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, the Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has continuously delivered global technology solutions, playing a key role in the bank’s technology transformation.
We are looking for a VP Oracle Developer to join our Treasury Technology team, contributing to the development of data-intensive applications within the Liquidity Management & Measurement (LMM) area.
You will work on large-scale financial systems, focusing on building and optimizing database solutions that support critical liquidity, cashflow, and regulatory reporting processes.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and develop complex SQL and PL/SQL logic for financial data processing.
- Build and optimize data models and ETL processes for large-scale datasets.
- Ensure performance, data quality, and reliability of database solutions.
- Collaborate with business and architecture teams to define data requirements.
- Contribute to testing, validation, and continuous improvement of data flows.
Your skills and experience
- Strong experience with Oracle SQL (complex queries, joins, window functions).
- Solid PL/SQL knowledge (procedures, packages, batch processing logic).
- Experience with performance tuning (execution plans, indexing, partitioning).
- Experience working with large data volumes and data modeling concepts.
- Understanding of financial data flows (cashflows, exposures, reporting) is a plus.
