We are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Data Centers Operations Team in UAE who will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of data center facilities. This role ensures compliance with QHSE standards, manages hard services, coordinates soft services, and oversees specialist services and vendor management. The Operations Engineer shall display excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensures all policies and procedures of the facility are enforced
• Assist in resolving concerns, incidents and issues of the customer, monitor investigation and recommended corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints., ensuring that services continuity is provided in a professional and safe manner.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and conducting customer meetings
• Review monthly reports as required
• Co-ordination with customer representative and operation team related to facility operational requirements
• Positive and quick response to customer’s emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Higher National Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or equivalent.
• Entry-level certifications in O&M management or related fields.
• Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS)
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in data center operations and management or mission-critical facilities (preferred)

• Proficient in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English, good verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment and tools such as UPS, generators, BMS (Building Management System), chillers and FLS (Fire Life Safety System)
• Familiarity with various CAFM/CMMS platforms
• Experience with work organization and work order planning
