Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading organisation supporting mission-critical national infrastructure to hire a Senior Network Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise network systems in a high-availability environment.

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure across production, test, and disaster recovery environments
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Monitor network health, capacity, and performance, implementing improvements where required
• Support incident and problem management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Plan and implement network changes in accordance with established processes
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and regular testing exercises
• Support infrastructure-related projects and system enhancements
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and processes
  
  

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
• Experience working with network technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
• Familiarity with mission-critical or data centre environments will be advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to support shift-based operations where required
