HR Generalist – Employee Success & Organizational Effectiveness Partner
(Culture, Performance, and People Operations)
The Opportunity
Levi & Korsinsky is seeking a proactive, execution-focused HR Generalist to serve as an Employee Success & Organizational Effectiveness Partner. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a growing, mid-sized professional services organization and wants to work closely with leadership to support performance, accountability, and a strong execution-driven culture.
You will manage core HR operations while partnering with firm leadership to help define, implement, and reinforce performance systems, KPIs, and people processes that align employee goals with business objectives. This role emphasizes follow-through, measurement, and continuous improvement rather than standalone strategy-setting.
Levi & Korsinsky operates more like a high-performance operating company than a traditional law firm—tech-forward, metrics-driven, and entrepreneurial in its approach to plaintiffs’ class action work.
What You’ll Do
Strategic HR & Business Alignment
- Partner with leadership to help define and refine firm-wide KPIs, performance expectations, and goal-setting frameworks.
- Translate leadership direction into clear, executable systems for teams and individuals.
- Align HR practices, employee goals, and performance metrics with overall business strategy.
Employee Performance & Development
- Partner with managers to set measurable goals for employees and new hires.
- Track progress, identify trends, and support course-correction when performance drifts.
- Coach managers and employees on feedback, accountability, development, and engagement.
- Foster a culture of recognition, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Help operationalize firm values into everyday behaviors, workflows, and expectations.
- Support onboarding, integration, and ramp-up to accelerate employee productivity.
- Identify friction points across teams and help implement practical improvements.
- Act as a thought partner to leadership on culture and employee experience initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Own day-to-day HR operations, including policy administration, documentation, and compliance.
- Handle employee relations matters with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate HR records and scalable, efficient processes.
- Serve as the firm’s go-to “HR Handler” for people-related problem-solving.
Measurement, Execution & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and measure the impact of HR and culture initiatives on business performance.
- Prepare reports and insights for leadership to inform decision-making.
- Gather feedback, track outcomes, and recommend incremental improvements.
- Celebrate wins, reinforce positive behaviors, and support consistent follow-through.
What You Bring
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, people operations, organizational effectiveness, or a related role.
- Experience in a mid-sized organization or professional services environment preferred.
- Background supporting leadership while owning execution and delivery.
- Legal background preferred
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- SHRM or equivalent certification preferred.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong executor with the ability to work independently from leadership direction.
- Quantitative and organized, with comfort tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
- Clear, practical communicator with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Sound judgment and discretion in sensitive people situations.
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools.
