Scrum Master:

• Facilitator and Coach for Agile Scrum Software Development Teams at HME India

Position Overview:

HME India is seeking a motivated and collaborative Scrum Master to join our team and lead 2-3 agile scrum software development teams. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of hands-on experience in a Scrum Master role, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to work independently. As the lead facilitator for all scrum ceremonies, you will play a critical role in ensuring that teams are operating efficiently and effectively in alignment with agile principles, while continuously working to improve team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners and development teams to ensure clarity of requirements and effective backlog management.
• Coach team members and stakeholders in agile best practices and scrum methodology.
• Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support multiple teams (2-3) simultaneously, ensuring each team maintains a high level of collaboration and performance.
• Actively drive and implement initiatives to improve team productivity, efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment with open communication and mutual respect.
• Monitor team progress and metrics, providing timely feedback and reporting to stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master working with software development teams.
• Solid understanding of agile and scrum frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple priorities.
• Experience facilitating scrum ceremonies and driving team accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated team player who values feedback and continuous learning.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
