Software Engineer (Python / GoLang)

Salary: £70k + 10% bonus

Opportunities to learn from the best and hone your skills across engineering do not come around often. This is excellent timing, the team are looking for a uni graduate with 4+ years under their belt, and who lives and breathes engineering. You will have a home set-up, GitHub projects outside of work and ideally an interest in IoT.

Experience needed...

• Experience in building data pipelines and data storage solutions
• RESTful web services and APIs; message brokers; CICD pipelines and test automation.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Designing data pipelines and data storage solutions for high throughput
• Data engineering tools (e.g. Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Kinesis, Snowflake, Apache Airflow)
• IoT protocols (MQTT)
• Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifest management

Experience with Automation and CI/CD would also be bonus as well as an "engineering mind-set". They need someone who is curious and who understands about the impacts of what they've done and who's worked on projects from start to finish.

This role will be all about rolling up your sleeves and digging deep into how things work and why, as well working closely with all the different areas of engineering, not just software, hence why having an understanding of cloud and APIs is important for this role.
