This is a high-impact role for a proactive developer ready to build sophisticated workflow automation platforms using React and Python. You'll bridge the gap between elegant UI and robust data processing, working in an entrepreneurial environment where your code directly shapes the future of the reinsurance industry.
The Role
- Lead the design and implementation of new front-end features for a high-performance automation platform using React and modern JavaScript hooks.
- Collaborate on the Python backend, optimizing Pandas-driven data processing and RESTful API integrations to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience.
- Work directly with modellers and analysts to translate complex reinsurance data requirements into intuitive, technical UI/UX solutions.
- Own the full development lifecycle within an Agile framework, from initial feature design and testing to final deployment on Azure cloud services.
- Participate in high-standard code reviews and contribute to the evolution of best practices for front-end architecture and state management.
- Proven proficiency in JavaScript and React, with a strong portfolio of building responsive, component-based user interfaces.
- Solid Python skills including experience with Pandas and API development to support full-stack functionality.
- Professional experience with version control systems (Git) and exposure to cloud deployment workflows, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- A strong understanding of Agile development practices and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to present innovative technical solutions to key business stakeholders.
