Network Engineer
Location: Surrey, UK
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance
Sole UK Nationals only
Our client is a leading technology and communications organisation delivering secure, high-performance network solutions across complex global environments. They are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to support, design, and maintain critical network infrastructure.
You'll work across the full network lifecycle-design, implementation, and support-ensuring performance, security, and reliability across internal and customer networks. You'll also act as an escalation point for complex issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support network solutions
- Troubleshoot routing, firewall, and performance issues
- Maintain network security and integrity
- Act as an escalation point for incidents
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Skills & Experience
- CCNA/CCNP, FCP/FCSS or equivalent
- Experience with Cisco (routers/switches) and Fortinet firewalls
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VPN/IPSec
- Solid troubleshooting and communication skills
