Senior Network Engineer
Up to £65k DOE
London, UK
iO Associates are aligned with a UK-based IT consultancy specialising in network infrastructure, cloud, and connectivity solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing global network environments, with a proactive approach to optimisation, a solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support and deliver complex enterprise projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3 weeks project work, 1 week Tier 3 support
- Troubleshoot multi-vendor network issues (Cisco, Arista)
- Resolve major incidents and outages
- Investigate hardware/software issues with vendors
- Manage WAN and third-party connectivity issues
- Monitor data centre network performance
Key Skills:
- CCNP certified
- Cisco & Arista experience
- Strong routing & switching (BGP)
- Network automation (Python preferred)
- Firewall experience (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform/AWX)
- Mentoring & knowledge sharing
