$153,000 – $160,000 pkg + STI Bonus

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a collaborative and cloud-native DevOps Engineer to join a business-unit focused application and DevOps team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is more than an infrastructure role. You'll be at the centre of a genuine modernisation agenda, helping to uplift critical business applications and drive cloud adoption across the organisation. You'll work closely with both technical teams and business-side stakeholders, bridging the gap between engineering capability and real operational outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Uplift and modernise applications critical to business operations
• Build, improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Managing AWS infrastructure using a code-first, IaC approach
• Write scripts and automation to reduce manual processes and improve repeatability
• Maintain monitoring and alerting solutions and responding when platforms need attention
• Engage directly with business teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical outcomes
• Support data integration between systems and managing application deployments across environments

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in DevOps engineering within AWS environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (exposure to TeamCity or GitHub Actions is a plus)
• Strong IaC skills using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or PagerDuty
• Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working in environments that blend commercial off-the-shelf solutions with custom application development
