Network Engineer - junior NOC engineer (Brussels center)

Dutch OR French + English required

Our network team is responsible for the setup, security and operations of the network that is used for an extensive range of services in our industrial and office contexts. To accomplish our tasks, we can rely on a wide range of tools and technologies. We are active in locations in Belgium, France, UK, Germany and Switzerland. The team is also involved in many projects (from setup of connectivity in new data centre, securing & connecting to the cloud, modernizing our WAN network, supporting the functional evolutions requested by application teams…). In this context, we are looking for motivated people who can help use contribute to the realisation of our challenges.

• The start date of this mission is as soon as possible

• This mission is foreseen for an initial duration of 1 year (renewable)

• The regime the first three months of the mission will be full time in the office. After this initial period hybrid work is possible, and this in the form of 3 days on-prem, 2 days to choose (under condition the work permits it).

• You will operate in a team supporting the company activities which run 24/7

• You will operate in an IT and OT environment, and are as such very diligent in preparing and executing changes

• You will participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems

• You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of our team

• You analyse and resolve incidents and technical problems

• You support our colleagues both in BE and other parts of Europe.

• You master one of our national languages Dutch or French and are fluent in English.

• You are always ready to work with other ICT teams

• You are a team player but also know how to work independently

• Operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto and Checkpoint)

• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level)

• Be familiar with Cisco cli

• You have worked with python

• You have already used backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication

• Any OT experience is considered a plus

• A background in computer science will be looked favourably upon

• You already have had a first relevant working experience
