We are looking for a highly results-driven Senior Operations Specialist - Rider Ops, to help scale Bolt’s rapidly growing business in Tallinn, Estonia.

About The Role
As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will own the operational excellence of rider use cases such as Airports, Scheduled Rides, Business rides, and Categories. In addition, you will translate business needs into clear processes and playbooks, partner with Local Ops and cross-functional teams, and drive measurable improvements in reliability, adoption and unit economics.
- Raise use case adoption and GMV through operational levers
- Improve reliability and quality through clear standards and playbooks
- Surface insights and opportunities to Product, Growth, and Pricing
- Map end-to-end rider use cases and documenting of current state, risks and gaps.
- Build out and maintain operational playbooks for Airports, Scheduled Rides and High Value categories.
- Identify and size improvement opportunities and run cost benefit analysis and priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Local Ops, LCM, Growth, Pricing, Analytics, Support and Product to execute changes and measure outcomes.
- Set up simple monitoring for core KPIs and publish a regular performance view with top and bottom markets and clear actions.
- Lead targeted ops pilots in priority cities and convert learnings into repeatable playbooks.
- Support Local Ops with category setup hygiene, and changes in Admin Panel as needed.
- Maintain a lightweight knowledge base and train local ops on new processes as required.
- Tracking of regulatory or policy constraints through Public Policy and Legal, reflecting those back in playbooks.
- You hold experience and exceptional knowledge and experience in the domain area, contributing to problem-solving and process improvement.
- You take ownership of your work, proactively identify and resolve issues, owning one or more work streams across projects.
- You actively participate in discussions, offering constructive feedback and solutions. Builds positive working relationships with colleagues across departments.
- You effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, adapting to the level of understanding.
- You assist with breaking down program goals into actionable steps, prioritise tasks based on impact, adapt to changes and apply project management principles for efficient execution.
- You will mentor junior team members and influence colleagues, and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
- You will understand and seek clarification of the organisation's strategic goals and how their work aligns with them. Can find opportunities to improve efficiency or effectiveness within their area of expertise, considering the strategic context.
- You can identify opportunities to improve program efficiency and effectiveness, and understand how to measure impact.
- You have a strong project management and planning skill set and can break down program goals into actionable steps and tasks as required.
- You successfully mentor junior team members and influence colleagues, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Understands the business strategy and seeks clarification of the organisation’s strategic goals and how work then aligns with them and their team, improving efficiency along the way.
- You create meaningful impact and results through creating program efficiency and effectiveness, with a knowledge of how to measure impact.
