The Audio & Music Apps group is looking for a talented software engineer. We are an international team with a presence in Rellingen/Germany, Edinburgh and Cupertino. The Rellingen engineering team works on GarageBand and Logic Pro (both for iOS and macOS), and MainStage. Your position will either be at our German office in Rellingen near Hamburg or Berlin.
Description
Our team practices fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between engineering, QA and product design. This position requires a highly ambitious & creative engineer with strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities will include working on new features for iOS and/or macOS applications, developing new audio and music related technologies and applications, and supporting the existing features of our apps. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong software development skills with Swift/SwiftUI, Objective-C, or C/C++
- Proven ability to develop high quality software products
- Strong knowledge of Xcode and related developer tools
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent professional experience in software development is required.
- Experience with SCM Systems (e.g. Git, Jenkins, SVN)
- Experience implementing UI's on iOS and/or Mac platforms
- Experience in development of music production software
- Experience with Clean Code principles and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Playing an instrument
