Your new company
An established Irish organisation operating within the creative and events space, is seeking to expand its finance function. Known for their impact both nationally and internationally, this company has a strong reputation for creativity, collaboration, and delivering memorable experiences for a wide range of clients. Their growing finance team supports several entities within the wider group, offering a dynamic and engaging working environment.
Based centrally in Dublin, the office is easily accessible from a number of public transport routes.
Your new role
- Oversee day‑to‑day financial processing for several companies within the group
- Handle supplier and customer transactions, ensuring entries are recorded accurately
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards
- Contribute to the monthly close process and assist with year‑end tasks
- Support the preparation of revenue reports and assist with income tracking
- Help compile financial summaries for projects
- Prepare management information for subsidiary businesses
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Assist in producing group-level financial reporting and consolidation tasks
- Internal and group allocations and more
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Exposure to the creative / events industry, construction or retail industries an advantage.
- Experience with project costing an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills
- Practical experience with accounting software such as Xero
- Clear and confident communication skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines
