Since 2015, Granta Autonomy has been developing autonomous recon drones, lightweight gimbals, and digital datalinks. Today, we supply Ukraine and NATO allies across Europe with our fixed-wing Hornet UAVs.



You will:

  • Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time applications
  • Support vision-based navigation integration into UAV systems.
  • Build and maintain simulation and testing pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ( embedded, hardware) to ensure seamless integration of vision systems.
  • Perform data collection and annotation, and manage datasets for training and validation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research in computer vision and robotics.


What you need to be successful:

  • Solid Python development for machine learning pipelines and experimentation with Pytorch
  • Strong C++ development skills (C++14/17 or newer) for high-performance systems
  • Knowledge of video streaming protocols (RTSP, RTP, WebRTC)
  • Experience working with video codecs (H264/H265)
  • Strong understanding of Linux internals
  • Experience working with ARM-based embedded platforms
  • Experience implementing low-level CV algorithms


You will have a significant advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge of existing UAV software ecosystems and products.
  • Knowledge in machine learning (ML) and deep neural networks (DNNs).
