We are looking for a Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer to join our SW & ICT department.


In this hybrid role, you will split your time between operational ICT activities, while also acting as the department's cybersecurity engineer. You will work within a modern environment built on Linux based systems, networking, cloud infrastructures and hyperconverged platforms.


As the team’s cybersecurity expert, you will play a key role in strengthening the company’s security measures, providing support for current and future projects, and enhancing our practices in an increasingly challenging and sensitive environment.


As part of the SW & ICT team, you will collaborate closely with all stakeholders involved in internal and external projects. You will also contribute to the cybersecurity strategy by suggesting and implementing tools, defining secure architectures, and influencing security decisions, in alignment with the company’s priorities and with the guidance of the Head of IT Operations.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


Cybersecurity

  • Act as the reference cybersecurity engineer within the SW & ICT department.
  • Contribute to establishing and improving the company-wide security framework.
  • Support project teams on security topics, risk evaluation, and secure design.
  • Define and propose improvements for security architectures, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist in implementing security controls, hardening, monitoring, and compliance-related measures.
  • Participate in incident response and support security assessments.


Operations

  • Support and maintain the company’s hybrid infrastructure:

o Linux environments (Debian, RedHat) ;

o Networking components (Cisco, Fortinet) ;

o Virtualization & hypervisors (VMWare, Nutanix, KVM/QEMU) ;

o Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) ;

o DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, SonarQube, Container/Artifacts registries) ;

o Monitoring stack (Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Prometheus) ;

o Scripting (Bash, Python).


  • Contribute to day-to-day ICT activities within the team.
  • Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and evolution of operational systems and services.
  • Assist in current and future infrastructure & architecture design.
  • Provide guidance on secure configuration and operational practices.


YOUR PROFILE & KNOWLEDGE


  • A minimum of 3 years supporting or building customer security infrastructure and/or network solutions.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols and security components.
  • Strong interest in taking ownership of cybersecurity topics.
  • Ability to work within a technical team and interact with different stakeholders across projects.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to improve processes and standards.
  • Team spirit, autonomous, organized.
  • A fluent English is mandatory. The knowledge of German, French and/or Luxembourgish would be considered as an asset.
