Information Technology Project Manager

We’re looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (m/f) to join our client in the Insurance sector.

Location: Luxembourg

Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 2-3 months.

Contract: CDI (open for permanent employees and/or freelancers)

Language requirement: Fluent French and English.

Salary: To be discussed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7–10 years of IT project management experience, ideally within Insurance industry
• Proven track record managing complex IT projects BI/Data.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI tool.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Finance
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) is a strong asset
• Solid understanding of IT systems, data integration, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Exposure to data migration or data governance projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects related to Insurance operations.
• Coordinate across business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring project adherence to standards and governance.
• Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and steering committees.
• Drive continuous improvement across project management practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Act as a point of contact between business and IT for all Insurance related projects.
