About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven and user-focused Head of Monetization & CRO to own and optimize the end-to-end revenue funnel of our digital product(s). This role sits at the intersection of Product, Data, and User Psychology, with a strong focus on revenue growth, user lifetime value, and conversion optimization.

You will be responsible for designing and optimizing monetization strategies, pricing models, and user journeys that drive sustainable growth. This is a high-impact role with ownership over the monetization roadmap and experimentation strategy.


What You Will Do

1. Own the Funnel & Monetization Design

  • Architect pricing structures, plans, and promotional strategies
  • Define packaging, bundling, and discount logic
  • Own the user journey from acquisition → onboarding → purchase → retention
  • Design and optimize paywalls and upgrade flows
  • Identify monetization opportunities across the entire lifecycle


2. Maximize LTV & Revenue

  • Develop segmentation strategies for different spender profiles
  • Create monetization approaches for both high-value and casual users
  • Design systems that encourage repeat engagement and purchases
  • Optimize retention and renewal flows
  • Analyze churn and implement win-back strategies


3. Rigorous Experimentation (A/B Testing)

  • Build and manage a high-velocity experimentation roadmap
  • Test pricing, offers, messaging, UX flows, and timing
  • Apply statistical rigor to validate experiment outcomes
  • Scale winning variants and discontinue underperforming ones


4. Behavioral Insights & Optimization

  • Apply behavioral economics principles to improve conversion
  • Use psychological triggers ethically to drive engagement and purchases
  • Balance short-term monetization with long-term trust


5. Cross-Functional Impact

  • Collaborate with Product, Data, Marketing, and Design teams
  • Influence roadmap decisions with data-driven insights
  • Help shape product strategy through monetization learnings


Who You Are (Requirements)

Experience

  • 4+ years in Monetization, Growth, Product, or CRO roles
  • Experience with subscription and/or microtransaction models
  • Background in digital consumer products (apps, SaaS, gaming, marketplaces, etc.)
  • Proven record of improving revenue and conversion metrics


Analytical Skills

  • Strong data literacy and analytical thinking
  • Experience working with product analytics and experimentation tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages
  • Comfortable with metrics like LTV, ARPU, ARPPU, CAC, and retention


Monetization Expertise

  • Deep understanding of pricing and packaging strategy
  • Experience designing paywalls and in-product offers
  • Ability to balance revenue optimization with user experience


Behavioral & Strategic Thinking

  • Knowledge of behavioral economics and user psychology
  • Hypothesis-driven, experimental mindset
  • Strong ownership mentality and decision-making ability


Nice to Have

  • Experience with hybrid monetization models (subscription + in-app purchases)
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
  • Background in UX/UI design
