Reporting to the Head of Digital Workplace & Cloud Platforms, the Cloud Platform Product Owner is responsible, in close collaboration with the Cloud Architect, for shaping and leading the Cloud Platform strategy within the organisation. This pivotal role serves as the driving force for digital transformation, ensuring that all Forvis Mazars countries or Group Services can leverage and benefit a state of the art and secured Cloud Platform. Acting as a bridge between the Platform team, Group IT, application owners and country leaders the Cloud Platform Product Owner will drive adoption and oversee continuous improvements and projects to enhance the maturity of the Platform and increase its usage within Forvis Mazars.

As the main point of contact for the Cloud Platform, the role requires a deep understanding of Cloud Architectures, Technologies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

In close collaboration with the Cloud Architect

• Define the long-term / mid-term strategy
• Develop the product roadmap
• Capture new demands and business needs and produce technical proposal and costs estimation
• Own the Team Backlog (Prioritization, Task Assignment, progress oversight)
• Oversee Cloud Platform governance, ensuring compliance with security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on Cloud Platform performance, adoption metrics, and improvement initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners to ensure best-in-class solutions and support.
• Manage Finops activities (Consumption controlling and internal invoicing)
• Build a strong relationship with the Platform clients.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Architectures and Principles.
• Microsoft Azure AZ-104 certification
• Agile Methodology (Kanban)
• Experience with IT governance, information security, and compliance relevant to Microsoft environments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
