Do you want to work at the intersection of software, hardware, and real-world testing? We’re looking for HIL Engineers who are passionate about building, improving, and working with advanced test environments in the automotive industry. Whether your strength lies in development or testing, this is your chance to make an impact.
About the role
As an HIL Engineer, you will be part of developing and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop environments used to verify and validate vehicle systems. You’ll work closely with different teams across the organization, supporting both development and testing activities. The role involves everything from setting up and configuring HIL rigs to improving workflows and ensuring reliable test environments. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, solve technical challenges, and contribute to efficient and high-quality testing processes.
We believe you have experience with:
- Working with HIL systems, both from a hardware and software perspective
- Automotive development, testing, or system verification
- Tools such as Matlab/Simulink, dSPACE or similar
- Scripting or programming (e.g. Python)
- CAN tools like CANoe or CANalyzer
- Version control systems such as Git
- CI/CD pipelines or automated testing environments
- Working in cross-functional teams and communicating with different stakeholders
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
A valid driver’s license (B) is considered a plus.
