Senior .NET Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite role)

Employment Type: 6-9 Months contract with further extensions

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a dynamic engineering team building modern APIs and microservices within a Microsoft technology stack.

This role is ideal for a hands-on full-stack developer who enjoys working on scalable backend systems while also contributing to intuitive and user-friendly frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop APIs and microservices using .NET technologies
• Build scalable, high-performance backend systems
• Contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Collaborate within Agile teams and cross-functional environments
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Support test automation and follow best practices (TDD is a plus)
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with .NET / ASP.NET
• Proficiency in C# development
• Proven experience in API & microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure DevOps
• Git (version control)
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as:
• Angular (13+)
• React
• Vue.js
• Understanding of test automation principles

Nice to Have

• Strong full-stack development experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure (cloud)
• Understanding of UI/UX principles
