Freelance Opportunity – IT Project Manager / Epic Delivery Owner (Infrastructure)

📍 Stockholm, Sweden (3 days onsite / 2 remote)

We’re hiring an experienced IT Project Manager / Epic Delivery Owner to lead complex infrastructure initiatives within a regulated financial environment.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery across infrastructure projects (networks, platforms, mainframe, cybersecurity), working in line with Agile/SAFe principles and using Azure DevOps & Power BI for data-driven reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery as Epic Owner from initiation to closure

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (infra, security, ops, architecture, vendors)

• Manage dependencies across legacy & modern platforms

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and security standards

• Provide clear reporting and insights for stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in IT Project Management / Delivery within infrastructure

• Background in regulated environments (finance, banking, critical infra)

• Solid knowledge of networks, platforms, mainframe & IT operations

• Experience working with vendors/system integrators

• Hands-on with Agile/SAFe, Azure DevOps, Power BI

• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Financial Market Infrastructure (CSD, clearing, settlement)

• Cybersecurity & risk management exposure

• Experience in hybrid IT environments
