Job Title: Kotlin Developer

Location: Krakow (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

About the Project

The Developer Experience (DevX) Standards and Controls function is building a platform that enables control owners and development teams to manage and monitor compliance with software development standards and controls.

The role involves working on Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs across multiple applications and proof-of-concepts, depending on experience and fit. All systems are built on a microservices architecture using modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to build and maintain products
• Design, develop, and implement both backend and light frontend features based on backlog priorities
• Contribute to the design and release of new features
• Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues and address feature requests
• Develop APIs and microservices solving real business problems
• Work in an Agile CI/CD environment delivering frequent iterations
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automated testing

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience in Kotlin (or Java with willingness to transition to Kotlin)
• Experience in at least 2–3 of: API development, databases, or frontend technologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• English proficiency: B2+

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Background in systems administration (Linux / AIX / WAS)
