About this opportunity!

The DevOps Engineer supports the realization of IT solutions in test environment by providing specialized technical expertise on systems and applications in ADM Projects. As a technology expert, works with the customer, driving the technical architecture definition and defining the full technical infrastructural environment of an IT solution. Responsible for understanding and implementing business rules and requirements of the customer system/application in recurrent business.

What You Will Do And Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field,
  • Linux command line knowledge is a must.
  • Min. 3 years of prior experience in application and system management.
  • Good to have application administration experience such as weblogic, nginx, tomcat, IIS.
  • Middleware application server experience is a big plus such as Oracle OSB, SOA Suite and IBM Datapower.
  • Operational understanding and experience in pro-active system and service monitoring frameworks and tooling, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios etc.
  • Solid understanding in SDLC processes and testing frameworks.
  • In terms of automating daily operational tasks, basic knowledge for python and bash scripting required,
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, ECS, EKS,
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of application deployment processes and an understanding of common application-layer security vulnerabilities, with a willingness to learn and improve remediation practices.
  • Strong knowledge in TCP/IP networking technologies,
  • Good troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders,
  • Proactively create procedures to prevent and reduce the severity of outages,
  • Willingness to be constantly learning,
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear and extensive documentation
