Role Overview:

As a Product Designer at Carla, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Experience teams to design intuitive, scalable, and delightful experiences across our mobile and web platforms, as well as marketing touchpoints that bring our brand to life.

This role spans both product and marketing design. You'll own the end-to-end product design process while also contributing to marketing assets such as landing pages, campaign visuals, and social media content. We're looking for a versatile designer who can switch contexts fluidly and maintain quality across both disciplines.

We also value designers who embrace AI as a creative partner, using tools like Midjourney and LLMs to accelerate ideation, iteration, and delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about craft but thinks in systems, outcomes, and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of product design projects across mobile and web, from discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final delivery
• Design user-centric experiences that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Create marketing design assets, including landing pages, campaign visuals, and social content
• Translate research, insights, and data into clear user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ship high-quality features efficiently
• Continuously improve and scale our design system, ensuring consistency and flexibility as the product grows
• Leverage AI tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, Canva AI, etc.) to enhance creative output and speed up workflows
• Use LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for research, UX writing, and workflow optimization
• Collaborate with Customer Experience to understand real user pain points and close feedback loops
• Participate in brainstorming, critique sessions, and product discussions, contributing ideas beyond pure execution
• Make thoughtful trade-offs to move fast while maintaining a high bar for quality and usability

What We Seek in You:

• 2+ years of experience in product design for mobile and web, with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end thinking
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design
• Strong visual and marketing design skills, comfortable creating assets beyond product UI
• Proficiency in Figma (must-have)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity Suite
• Familiarity with AI design tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, Canva AI, or similar)
• Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for research, copywriting, or workflow enhancement
• Bonus: interest or experience in vibe coding / no-code prototyping
• Experience designing and working with design systems at scale
• Proven experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to ship real products
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment with evolving priorities
• A customer-first mindset with no ego, focused on building the right thing, not just the nicest thing
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and proactively drive work forward
• Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level)
