Role Overview

The CTO will drive enterprise-wide technology governance, infrastructure management, and in-house software development. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for a technology leader capable of building systems from the ground up while supporting multi-campus and international expansion.


Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and execute a 3–5 years technology roadmap aligned with growth strategy.
  • Lead digital transformation across academic, finance, HR, and operational functions.
  • Establish IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Report technology strategy and performance metrics to the Board.

ERP & Enterprise Systems (SAP Mandatory)

  • Lead ERP implementation, integration, and optimization.
  • Ensure seamless integration across Finance, HRMS, Admissions, and Academic systems.
  • Drive automation, data accuracy, and reporting standardization.
  • Manage ERP vendors and system performance.

In-House Software Development (Critical)

  • Architect and develop a proprietary School Management System (SMS).
  • Build and lead an internal software engineering team.
  • Oversee development of student information, attendance, grading, parent portal, teacher dashboard, and fee modules.
  • Ensure cloud scalability (AWS/Azure), API integrations, and strong security architecture.
  • Implement Agile and DevOps practices.

Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Innovation

  • Ensure secure, high-availability IT infrastructure across campuses.
  • Implement cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks.
  • Integrate EdTech tools, analytics dashboards, AI, and automation initiatives.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in computer science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior technology leadership role.
  • Proven experience in:
  • SAP ERP implementation
  • Large-scale system integration
  • Leading in-house software development teams
  • Education sector experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • Strong Board-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to build scalable digital platforms from the ground up.
