About The Opportunity:


We’re looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join our team for the summer term. In this role, you will support active construction projects by assisting with the coordination and management of day to day project tasks. Working closely with an experienced team, you will gain hands-on exposure to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.

As a Junior Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:


  • Assist the Project Coordinators and Project Managers on various construction projects.
  • Assist with project documentation including, but not limited to change orders, subcontracts, meeting minutes, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Assist with project closeout procedures including, but not limited to pre-board inspections, suite turnovers, maintenance and warranty documents, and deficiency walk-throughs
  • Promoting a high level of HS&E that represents Prodigy’s values and commitment.
  • Assisting with monitoring project activities to ensure the project is managed in accordance with the scope, budget, schedule, procedures, and standards established.
  • Professionally interacting with design professionals, consultants, vendors, trades, and clients as required.
  • Responding to client inquiries & concerns, ensuring timely & quality service and follow-up.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.


About You:


The successful candidate will have the following:


  • Must be currently enrolled or completing a recognized Engineering, Architecture or Construction degree or diploma program;
  • A positive mindset and a proven track record of team collaboration;
  • The ability to work throughout the Greater Toronto Area

Approximate hourly rate range for this role: $20–$24, depending on year of study
