Role

We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be a true "all-rounder," responsible for maintaining, optimising, and building core enhancements for SGInnovate’s Deep Tech Central platform.

We are looking for a developer who excels in traditional full-stack environments and embraces emerging AI technologies. You will work closely with our Product Manager and report directly to the Technical Lead to navigate a diverse and evolving technological ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and administrative portals.
• Agile Execution: Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, translating Jira tickets, mockups, and product requirements into high-quality, functional code.
• AI Integration & Innovation: Help conceptualise and build AI-driven features to enhance user experience. Possibly pilot integrations using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI APIs.
• Architecture & Serverless: Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, AWS SAM, and the Serverless Framework.
• Platform Maintenance: Support and enhance a diverse codebase, managing both modern stacks (Next.js/NestJS) and legacy/varied environments (PHP, Drupal 9, Angular, Vue.js).
• Cloud & DevOps: Manage cloud deployments, configure AWS services via Console/CLI, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy scripting).
• Security & Compliance: Ensure platform integrity by implementing and monitoring security protocols using AWS security tools, ClamAV, and NetSkope.
• Reporting: Utilise Python to generate and automate HackerRank reports for internal tracking and analytics.

Requirement

Frontend Development

• Core: Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• UI/UX: Material UI (MUI).
• Additional Frameworks: Angular, Vue.js, and Nuxt Framework (required for supporting varied platform components).
• Authentication: AWS Cognito.

Backend Development & Databases

• Core Backend: Node.js, NestJS.
• Legacy/Varied Systems: PHP, Drupal 9.
• Scripting: Python (specifically for handling HackerRank reports).
• Databases: AWS RDS Aurora (PostgreSQL), MySQL.
• ORM: Prisma.
• Integrations: Zoom Services, Scheduler services.

Cloud, DevOps & Serverless (AWS & Infrastructure)

• Compute & Hosting: AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS S3.
• Networking & Delivery: AWS CloudFront, AWS Load Balancer, Cloudflare DNS.
• Messaging & Serverless: AWS SNS, AWS SES, AWS SAM, Serverless Framework.
• CI/CD: Jenkins (Groovy scripting), AWS Console & CLI.

Security & Monitoring

• AWS Security: AWS WAF, AWS Inspector, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub.

AI & Machine Learning (Preferred)

• AI Integration: Familiarity with leveraging LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock).
• Frameworks/Concepts: Basic understanding of Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and working with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Data: Familiarity with vector embeddings and vector databases (e.g. leveraging pgvector within PostgreSQL).
