Job Description
This role will be based in San Francisco or New York.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
Our Go-To-Market Sales Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for building and maintaining the operational foundation that enables our sales organization to run effectively and efficiently. This role sits at the intersection of Go-To-Market strategy and data systems, partnering with Sales Operations, CRM, and Analytics teams to design and scale automated, data-driven solutions for LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
As a Sales Strategy & Operations Associate, you will partner with stakeholders to assess business performance and design scalable, automated solutions that drive revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. You will help design and operationalize modern Sales Operations system shifting the organization from manual, ad hoc analysis to repeatable, automated, and intelligent workflows that power forecasting, planning, segmentation, and quota setting at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation & AI Enablement
- Design, build, and scale end-to-end automated analytical workflows that support core GTM processes such as forecasting, quota setting, territory planning, and performance reporting.
- Partner with Sales Operations, CRM, and Data teams to identify, prototype, and implement opportunities where AI-assisted techniques, machine learning, or rules-based automation can improve decision-making, speed, and accuracy
- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical frameworks that can be operationalized through automation.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on large, complex datasets (CRM, financial, customer) using SQL (and Python where applicable) to surface insights that directly inform GTM decisions.
- Go beyond descriptive reporting to identify leading indicators, risks, and opportunities across pipeline, bookings, and productivity.
- Support annual and quarterly planning processes (segmentation, headcount planning, territory design, quota setting) with an emphasis on building scalable, repeatable planning frameworks and automation.
- Own and improve core GTM planning and forecasting tools, ensuring data quality, consistency, and scalability across regions and segments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional partners by delivering clear, structured, and data-backed recommendations that influence GTM decisions.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Operations and Analytics partners to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Communicate complex analyses and technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Support adoption of new tools and processes by translating technical changes into clear, usable workflows for Sales and Operations partners
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a strategic, analytical, or operational role (e.g., Sales Operations, Business Operations, Consulting, Finance, Analytics).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint in a business context.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools used in business and analytics contexts.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and modeling (SQL, Excel; Python or similar analytical tools a plus).
- Experience building or maintaining automated data pipelines, planning models, or operational tooling in a Sales or GTM context.
- Demonstrated experience automating recurring analyses or operational processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and work with imperfect data.
- Experience building executive-ready narratives and presentations that influence decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM and planning systems such as D365, Anaplan, and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.

The pay range for this role is $84,000-$137,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
