Staff / Principal Software Engineer – Python & AI Pipelines

Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to help build a next-generation platform for AI-driven code transformation and translation. This work focuses on bridging the gap between algorithm development and deployment in resource-constrained or embedded environments.

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced code translation pipelines that combine Generative AI, static analysis, and formal verification techniques. You will also contribute to building scalable, multi-language code analysis and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture for AI-driven, agent-based pipeline systems
• Design and implement complex workflows involving state machines, messaging systems, and distributed services
• Develop well-tested, extensible foundations for code transformation and translation platforms
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate formal verification and static analysis into code generation workflows
• Create language-agnostic patterns for translating code across different programming environments
• Build and scale multi-language code analysis and indexing tools
• Work with cloud-based and distributed systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise-level software in Python, delivering production systems to large user bases
• Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs
• Strong track record of planning and executing complex projects in collaborative team environments
• Experience building reliable systems using best practices across the software development lifecycle (code reviews, testing, CI/CD, release management, build systems)
• Familiarity with machine learning tools, frameworks, or AI-based systems
• Expertise in building scalable APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to agent-based or autonomous AI frameworks
• Experience with code analysis or static analysis tools
• Background working with cloud platforms and distributed systems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
