Job Title: DevOps Engineer Designation: Delivery Module Lead
Location: Mph - Client Site, Illinois, US
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team as a Delivery Module Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and automation tools. This role involves collaborating with software development teams to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and implement best practices in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and configuration management.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the DevOps processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using logging and monitoring tools such as the ELK stack and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Manage large data processes and real-time messaging systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and release management activities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Powershell / Phyton / VBScript / Bash Script) and configuration management tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as PaaS.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., IaaS).
- Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Centralized Logging).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Dynatrace and AI tools (e.g., Responsible AI).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large data processes and real-time messaging systems.
- Familiarity with release management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or related areas are a plus.
