Hiring for a Junior Data Analyst to sit onsite 3x/week in Dearborn, MI!
Location: Onsite 3 days per week – Dearborn MI
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Job Description
The JR Analyst develops and supports analytic deliverables across the business, including sales and performance reporting, marketing and campaign analytics, dealer and customer insights, and dashboard/data visualization. The role also conducts strategic ad hoc analysis to support business strategy, daily decision‑making, and understanding of customer and marketing behavior trends. Works closely with business partners to identify analytic needs and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 2-4 years as a data analyst (Jr)
- BA/BS or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong data‑wrangling skills, including querying, joining, manipulating, and automating datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, as well as Microsoft Office tools
- Experience analyzing business and marketing performance, including response rates, sales, incremental lift, profitability, and customer profiling
- Experience performing behavioral and cohort analysis related to engagement, retention, and conversion trends
- Expertise in sales, business, financial, customer, CX, and program analytics
- Ability to build, maintain, and support Business, Sales, and Program Performance Reporting (BPR)
- Experience presenting insights to stakeholders and creating clear, visual PowerPoint presentations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail
- Highly self‑motivated, independent, and ethical work style
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with automotive, vehicle sales, parts, subscription, or loyalty program data
- Experience applying AI or advanced analytics tools to business processes
Compensation:
$32/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
