Project

Join this project to work on a medical device migration of multi-processor critical software system to a new target hardware. You would be a part of a large international team working on improvement of software system portability and integration of RTOS.

Work

For this position we are looking for a person who will identify, create and implement test strategy for medical device software migration to anew target hardware.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Developing strategies for efficient testing in a high-pressure project, taking into account quality and deadline pressure
• Controlling the defined processes and quality gates
• Creation, execution and maintenance of a software test management plan
• Definition of metrics for tracking progress
• Present reports to management(PPM, Stream Leads, Global project manager)
• Supporting the overall defect management processes (reporting and analysis)

We are looking for a person with the following experience:

• Several years of experience in testing embedded software systems
• In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of test management and/or project management
• Very good knowledge of software development processes
• Basic programming experience (C/C++)
• Knowledge of HIL, SIL and System tests
• Experience in development/testing of safety-related systems, e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262 or IEC 62304 is a big plus
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German language is an advantage
