Role: AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Sydney & Melbourne
Fulltime (Permanent)
Job Description:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop automation scripts and solutions using programming languages like Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js for building automation tools, APIs, and deployment frameworks.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies across AWS environments.
- Implement and enforce security best practices including IAM, VPC, security groups, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive measures to enhance system stability.
