Cyber security in healthcare isn’t just about systems, it’s about protecting people, services, and lives.

We are seeking a Head of Cyber Security Operations to lead and evolve enterprise security operations across a large, complex and highly regulated organisation.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the organisation can detect, respond to and recover from cyber threats, while driving a clear roadmap to uplift cyber capability.

The Role

You will lead the Security Operations function, taking accountability for:

• SOC / Security Operations capability (internal, co-sourced or managed)
• Incident response and cyber crisis management
• Threat detection, monitoring and vulnerability management
• Operational cyber metrics (MTTD, MTTR, detection coverage)
• Delivery of a multi-year cyber uplift roadmap
• Embedding security into enterprise architecture and delivery programs

This role operates at the intersection of hands-on cyber operations and executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For?

We’re looking for a proven cyber operations leader, not just a strategist.

You will bring:

• Experience leading or maturing Security Operations / SOC capability
• Strong incident response leadership in complex environments
• Background operating in large enterprise or regulated organisations
• Experience delivering cyber uplift / maturity programs
• Ability to translate cyber risk into clear business outcomes
• Proven leadership of cyber teams and operational capability

Experience with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or Essential Eight is highly regarded.
