About So Shall We:

We partner with mid‑market owners and executives in the US to drive bottom‑line growth with mutual upside. A rare combination of consulting, full-stack execution and aligned incentives to eliminate what is wrong with the agency model.

We are what remains. We make growth feel easy.

Because your growth is our business.

Your Mission

As a CRO Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end conversion optimization strategy and experimentation roadmap to drive higher conversion rate. You’ll be trusted with full ownership of testing initiatives, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven decision-making and supported by cross-functional teams including Design and Performance to deliver meaningful, scalable growth across our client’s funnels.

This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, from identifying optimization opportunities to launching and reviewing experiments, and requires analytical rigor, UX and behavioral insight, strong stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of A/B testing to build scalable, sustainable growth across our customer journeys.

What You’ll Do

Optimization Strategy & Delivery

  • Own conversion optimization programs across assigned clients; define testing scope and success criteria per account.
  • Translate business goals and user insights into prioritized testing roadmaps and clear hypotheses (Problem → Hypothesis → Metric).
  • End-to-end of experiments—brief, spec, QA, launch, monitoring, analysis, and recommendation sign-off.
  • Lift conversion rate and revenue per visitor; reduce friction and improve UX; turn insights into shipped improvements.

Core craft

  • Build A/B and multivariate tests; design variants with Design/UX; configure targeting and audiences; ensure clean event/pixel tracking; iterate based on learnings; produce experiment briefs and post-test analyses.

Measurement & Insight

  • Define primary/secondary KPIs per test; monitor performance; validate significance/power/MDE; segment results (device, channel, audience); convert findings into actionable backlogs and playbooks.

Stakeholder / Client Leadership-relationship

  • Set expectations on timelines, risk, and definitions of success; align hypotheses and trade-offs; present readouts and next steps; educate stakeholders on experimentation best practices.

Collaboration & Handoffs

  • Partner with Performance, Account Managers, Design, Funnels, for ideation, build, QA, and release; create clear tickets/specs; hand off winning variants for permanent implementation.

Experimentation & Learning

  • Maintain a living test backlog; run ideation sessions; document wins/losses; codify heuristics; champion a test-and-learn culture.

Planning & Prioritization

  • Build quarterly testing roadmaps; prioritize via ICE/PIE (impact, confidence, effort); balance quick wins with deeper UX/IA improvements; manage multiple clients concurrently.

Systems, Tooling & Enablement

  • Operate testing and analytics stacks (e.g., Optimizely/VWO/Convert, GA4, tag managers, heatmaps/session replay); maintain SOPs, templates, and dashboards; ensure tracking/data quality.

Who You Are:

Experiment-Driven & Analytical:

  • You design clear hypotheses, run A/B and multivariate tests, validate significance and power, and translate results into decisive next steps.

User-Centered & Insight-Led:

  • You ground testing in real behavior—funnels, heatmaps, and session replays—and spot friction that unlocks conversion.

Clear Communicator & Trusted Partner:

  • You turn complex outcomes into simple, client-ready narratives, set expectations up front, and align stakeholders on trade-offs and timelines.

Collaborative & Proactive:

  • You work tightly with Design, Performance, and Funnels, anticipate dependencies, and keep work moving with crisp specs and QA.
