Internship Data & Privacy Compliance

Red Bull
Austria · Full-time · Internship

As an Intern in the Data & Privacy Compliance Team, you'll support the maintenance and further development of Red Bull’s global Data & Privacy Compliance Framework. This framework covers not only international data protection laws but also emerging data-related and cybersecurity regulations, including the EU Data Act, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and comparable global developments. In this role, you'll contribute to strategic compliance initiatives and help translate regulatory requirements into practical processes. You'll collaborate closely with experienced team members and gain valuable insight into how a global organization implements data protection and cybersecurity obligations.

We are looking for a motivated talent to start in May/June 2026 for six months.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

SUPPORT DATA & PRIVACY COMPLIANCE PROJECTS

In this role, you'll contribute and support in the conception, implementation and company-wide rollout of data & privacy compliance projects —for example, maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), developing training and awareness concepts, and enhancing our global processes for data incidents and data subject requests.

GAIN EXPERTISE IN CYBERSECURITY AND EMERGING DATA REGULATIONS

You'll support our team in monitoring global developments in data protection, digital regulations, and cybersecurity. By researching new laws and summarizing key updates, you'll help us understand what they mean for Red Bull and how they may impact our processes. You'll also assist in sharing relevant updates with our internal stakeholders. This role gives you the chance to build foundational knowledge in one of the fastest-growing legal fields.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

You'll support the team with legal research activities, document preparations and general administrative tasks that support the effective operation of the Data & Privacy function.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • First experience or academic exposure to European data protection or cybersecurity laws is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with a structured and solution-oriented working style
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic, evolving regulatory environment
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
  • You bring positive energy to the environment you work in and enjoy collaborating with others

As an employer, we value diversity and support people in developing their potential and strengths, realizing their ideas and seizing opportunities. We believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation or origin.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.221,00 gross per month.
