ERP Consultant (CI/CD & DevSecOps)
Type: Freelance
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Onsite 3 days/week)
Language: Fluent English (Mandatory); French is a strong asset.
Role Objective
We are looking for a Senior ERP Consultant to join a high-performing DevSecOps team. You will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and automated application delivery pipelines within a complex enterprise IT landscape. You must be fully operational from day one, possessing the technical depth to integrate ERP systems into modern CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code environments.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Pipeline Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting ERP and enterprise applications across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
- DevSecOps Integration: Implement secure deployment processes, including the integration of SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container security into the software lifecycle.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automation scripts and IaC to support ERP system deployment, configuration, and integration.
- System Optimization: Monitor and optimize build and release pipelines to improve performance, reliability, and traceability.
- Collaboration: Work alongside DevOps engineers, security specialists, and cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration of ERP systems within the broader IT ecosystem.
- Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance on DevOps practices and automation tools in a highly interconnected environment.
Mandatory Technical Skills
1. Programming & Scripting
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience with JavaScript for automation or pipeline scripting.
2. CI/CD & Version Control
- Hands-on expertise with platforms such as GitHub Enterprise, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong mastery of Git-based collaboration.
3. Infrastructure & Containerization
- IaC Tools: Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (Orchestration).
4. Systems & Databases
- Linux System Administration.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.
- Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals and Cloud/Hybrid environments.
Candidate Requirements
- Education & Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience (University degrees are counted toward this total).
- Citizenship: Must be an EU Citizen.
- Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo a Personal Security Clearance (PSC) up to SECRET UE/EU SECRET level. Proof of initiation is required before the start date.
- Soft Skills: Ability to respect strict deadlines, report in a structured manner, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
