In this role, you will participate in creating various new software solutions and developing meaningful, long-term impact projects using modern development practices. One of the key focuses of the role is the gradual modernization of existing systems and transitioning them to modern technologies, while we also highly value opportunities to build something completely new.


Your skillset

  • At least 3 years of programming experience in developing Java-based information systems;
  • Experience participating in information system development and implementation projects, including large-scale and high-availability solutions;
  • At least 2 years of SQL programming experience and working with relational databases;
  • Experience with backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript frameworks) and developing and integrating REST services;
  • Exposure to modern development and infrastructure solutions (e.g., CI/CD, container technologies, monitoring);
  • Experience with version control systems and code repositories, and willingness to contribute to testing, including automated tests;
  • Good command of Estonian, both spoken and written;
  • Willingness to develop frontend solutions.


Bonus if you have

Experience with X-Road, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka / RabbitMQ / Artemis / IBM MQ, etc.
